Hi,  I’m Amanda 🤍

I’m a wife, mom of two girls, and photographer based in Northeast North Carolina — specializing in commercial photography and capturing imagery for families, weddings, and beach sessions throughout the Outer Banks region. 

​

My goal is simple: to create a relaxed, easy, and actually enjoyable experience while capturing real moments you’ll want to remember forever.

Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent over 7 years as a nurse — an experience that shaped how I connect with people in a really meaningful way. I don’t just show up to take photos. I take the time to get to know you, your family, and what matters most, so your session feels comfortable, natural, and never forced.

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember — from flipping through family albums growing up to taking photography classes in high school and eventually working professionally. After moving to North Carolina and starting my family, I built this business while working as a nurse, slowly growing it into what it is today.

Now I get to do what I love full-time — capturing real moments for families, couples, and businesses throughout our area.

Alongside families and weddings, I also work with local businesses, our local college, and medical facilities to create clean, professional imagery for marketing, advertising, and branding. From website content to social media and larger campaigns, my work has been used in billboards, ads, and marketing throughout the area — there’s a good chance you’ve passed one of my images on a billboard while driving locally. 😊

My sessions are relaxed, flexible, and centered around real connection — especially when kids are involved. No awkward posing, no pressure — just a laid-back experience where you can actually enjoy the moment. I love coaching my clients with relaxed posing woven around the natural moments.

• Mom to two amazing girls who keep life fun (and a little chaotic 😅)

• Married to the best guy — a mechanic, incredible girl dad, and the behind-the-scenes MVP who helps manage my business, keeps my gear running, and second shoots events alongside me

• NJ roots (908 forever) — I grew up in Jersey and moved to North Carolina at 20 years old, but the OBX has always felt like home to me

• I am a big Swiftie — always somewhere between Our Song, Delicate, and All Too Well  (ATWTMVTVFTV) 🎶

• Slightly (okay, very) obsessed with otters and orcas — I almost majored in marine biology
